Ingredients:

1 cup dried elderberries, or 2 cups fresh

4-5 cinnamon sticks

1 TBSP whole cloves

2 TBSP ground (dried) ginger

2 cups water

1 cup honey

Recipe:
Simmer all of the above ingredients (except the honey) for 30-45 minutes. Strain well, reserving the juice. Let cool to room temperate, then add in honey. Mix well, store in a sanitized jar and take 1-2 TBSP daily. Use within 60 days. If you wish to make a larger batch, don’t add honey. Instead, freeze the “juice” in ice cub trays and then pull enough out to fill your jar, let thaw, add honey and then refrigerate until used.
