Homemade Iced Lattes

Get ready for this bad boy. Homemade Iced Lattes - either regular or decaf - can be on your table in little to no time. No espresso machine needed, in fact, nothing special needed other than the espresso powder. We do recommend a handheld whipper thingy (that’s what we call it) but you can usually pick them up for even less that $10 on amazon. Let’s jump right in.

Here it is - the secret to the best homemade lattes. I promise, this isn’t your ordinary instant coffee. This is THE best, cannot tell the difference, espresso powder (and the whipper thingy you will want to have on hand).

Don’t try any other espresso or coffee powder - this stuff is the best!

When I am making a 20 ounce iced latte here’s how I do it -

1 TBSP instant espresso (has to be the brand above but it comes in Decaf, Blonde and Intense based on your preference)

4 ounces water

Use the whipper to make those two frothy together.

Add your preference of syrup (pumpkin creme, blueberry or whatever store bought you have) OR honey, maple syrup, sugar, brown sugar, etc. The amount is preference based - if you like super sweet, add more, less sweet, start with less. Start with a TBSP if you unsure you can always add more.

Whip it again.

Add a good amount of ice. I usually fill the up about 2/3 with ice at this point.

Then top off with milk of your choice (with think Beyer’s is the best!) leaving about 1” head space at the top.

Now comes the fun part. Take 2 - 3 TBSP Heavy Cream add 1-2 tsp of brown sugar and whip this until it gets nice and thick, then add it to the top of your latte and enjoy!

Easy, clean ingredients, and DELICIOUS!
